Rex C. Ballard, 67, 1525 Valleyview, died Friday at St Johns Medical Center in Tulsa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Tuesday at Westside Baptist Church with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Ballard was born Jan 14, 1924, Bristow, and was a Sapulpa resident all of his life. He owned Rex’s Barber Shop and was a member of the Westside Baptist Church and Elks lodge 1118 where he was a past trustee, I.O.O.F., and Moose Lodge of Tulsa.

Survivors include wife Catherine; son Charles Gene Ballard of Sapulpa, brother Clark SMITH of Jellico, TN; sisters Ruth BLOSH of Tulsa, Grace ELREDGE and Pauline WOLFE, both of Sapulpa, and Mary Lou BEDFORD of Jellico.

Burial followed in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Casketbearers were Jack Isbell, Oran Davis, Earl Cline, Bill Bristow, Fred Russell and Keny Boyde.

Honorary bears were Walt McDonald, Frank Spears, Glenn Nix, Herb Graham, Ken Stivers, Bill Stanley and Elks Lodge Brothers.
