Mr. Jerry Wayne Barry, 50, of Bristow died Monday [Jul
4, 1988] at home.
Services were today at Church of Christ, Bristow, with Bill Conkling officiating.
Burial was in Sunrise Cemetery, west of Kellyville, under the direction of Schumacher Funeral Home.
Mr. Barry was born Sep 28, 1937, in Cleveland, Okla., and married DaNell Stafford Oct 4, 1957, in Altus, Okla.
He retired from the U.S. Air Force Jan 1, 1976, and was veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Mr. Berry moved to Bristow from Anderson Air Force Base, Guam, in 1976.
He worked as toll gate attendant on the Turner Turnpike until he retired in May, 1987.
Mr. Barry was a member of the Church of Christ and a member of and past senior vice commander for Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3656.
Survivors include wife DaNell; father Jack of Bristow; son Jerry Wayne Jr. of Bristow; Daughters Dana Sue Allen of Tarzana, Calif., and Robin Little of Kiefer; brothers John Samuel of Noel, Mo., and William Don of Turley, Okla.; sisters Helen Sue Tillock, Terry Lee Hayes, and his twin, Phyllis Ann Booth, all of Claremore; and four grandchildren.
