Mounds – William Franklin Barton, 79, Mounds, died Friday at his home. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 pm Wednesday at Mounds Christian Church with L. O. McNabb officiating. Burial will be at Mounds City Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home. Mr. Barton was born Dec 12, 1911, in Mounds. He married Beryl Barton, Sep 4, 1932 in Tulsa. He was a banker and retired from First National Bank of Tulsa after 25 years. He was a member of First United Methodist church, Tulsa, a 32nd Degree Mason and active in singing groups in Tulsa. Survivors include wife, Beryl; son Edward Barton of Mounds; daughters Carol Ann MICHNO and Jean THOMPSON, both of Tulsa; sisters Mary CROSS of Tulsa and Emily SNYDER of Wagoner; three grandchildren; and thre great-grandchildren. The family will headquarter at the Barton home in Mounds. BARTON, William Franklin
