THEODORE BIGHEAD

MOUNDS — Theodore R. Bighead, 63, Mounds, died Thursday at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Muskogee.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Pickett Prairie Church with Thomas Long and Mike Harjo officiating.

Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Leonard Funeral Home of Bixby.

Casketbearers will be lee Richards, Gene Bigpond, Crosby Garseesis, Eli Marshall, Gilbert Mathews, Sonny O’Hearn and Ross Moore.

Honorary bearers include Ray O’Hearn, Jim Mulkey, Jim Bailey, John D. Brown and Dimmie Washburn.

Mr. Bighead was born in Mounds. He was a machinist, a member of the Duck Creek Board of Commissioners, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of his church and a member of Methodist Men and the church choir.

Survivors include sister Mae Tulsa and brother Konzie Bighead, both of Mounds.
