TULLIS BIRDSONG

Tullis Samuel Birdsong, 80, Route 2, died Tuesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at South Heights Assembly of God with the Rev. Gary Thiessen officiating.

Burial will be a South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Casket bearers are Norman Montgomery, Dennis Duncan, Wayne Martin, Roger Birdsong, Ronnie Birdsong, and Mike Birdsong.

He was born Oct. 21, 1909, in Calico Rock, Ark. and lived in the Sapulpa area most of his life.

Mr. Birdsong married Reetie Roberts on Jan. 14, 1935, in Bristow. He was a self employed oil field pumper until his retirement.

Survivors include wife Reetie of the home; daughter Bonnie Drake of Sapulpa; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at the family home south of Sapulpa.
