John Wesley Bowers, 58, of San Antonio, Texas, died Wednesday at San Antonio, Texas.

Services are scheduled for 2 pm Monday at Moore’s Eastlawn Chapel in Tulsa.

Burial will follow at Memorial Park under the direction of Moore Funeral Homes.

A former Sapulpa resident, he was employed by Kelley Deca at Air Force Base. He was also retired from the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Ernestine; daughters, Tammye Sumpter of Monterey, Calif., Terilyn Howard of Centerville, Va.; mother, Florence Bowers of Sapulpa; sister, Edith Carter of Sapulpa; brothers, Conard Bowers of Sapulpa, Vernon Bowers of Rosewell, New Mexico, and Carl Bowers of Phoenix, Arizona; and five grandchildren.
