ESTER BOMAN

PHOENIX, Ariz. — Former Sapulpan Mrs. Carl (Ester) Boman, 72, died Thursday at her daughter’s home in Chandler, Arizona.

Services will be 2 pm Monday at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Plunk officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills memorial Gardens.

Casket bearers will be Doug Thrasher, Dusty Thrasher, Russell Dunlap, Cephas Bowman, Johnny Ayers and Dan Bradley.

She was born June 24, 1918, in Uniontown, Kan. She moved to the Sapulpa area in 1974 from Arizona. She married Carl Boman on Feb 11, 1974, in Carthage, Mo. She was a housewife and attended the Bible Baptist Church in Sapulpa.

Survivors include daughter Marty Guero of Chandler, Ariz.; stepsons Richard Boman of San Diego, Calif.; Clyde Boman of Sapulpa, David Boman of Hutchinson, Kan. and Steven Boman of Tishomingo; step daughters Jean Libkie of Caney, Kan., Beth Smith of Sapulpa, Carlene Aguire of Glenpool and Teresa Ayers of Caney, Kan.; brothers Cecil Compton of Springfield, Mo. and Alvin Miller of California; sisters Eithol Edens of Sapulpa, Lydia Whittaker of Carthage, Mo. and Ruth Morrison of Ellensburg, Was.; 31 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

The Family will headquarter at the Beth Smith home south of Sapulpa.

Funeral services for Ester M. Bowman were today at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Plunk officiating.
