Henry Oscar Brown, 58, of Bristow, died Sunday in Tulsa.

Services are to be held at 2:30 pm Wednesday at the Free Holiness Church in Bristow with Rev. Melvin Duke and Rev. Larry Wood officiating.

Burial is to follow in the Sunrise Cemetery under the direction of Schumacher Funeral Home.

Brown was born Oct 7, 1935 in Iron Post and was a life-long resident of the Bristow area. He attended the Bristow Free Holiness Church and was a retired heavy equipment operator for the county. He coached in Bristow's little league for 13 years and coached women's independent softball and and basketball. He supported the American and National Kidney Funds and was a member of the Tulsa Kidney Klassic through the Tulsa Regional Medical Center's dialysis unit where he received dialysis treatment for the past 11 years. He enjoyed woodworking, crafts and being with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by wife Donna Brown on the home; mother Winnie Brown; sons Floyd Brown and Tony Copeland, both of Bristow; daughter Cathy Tunnell of Bristow; sisters Wilma Duke of Depew, Sharon Vanorsdol, Earlene Bostick and Shirley Brown, all of Bristow, Margaret Ailey of Milfay and Frieda Fowler of Midwest City; and five grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund.
