Donald Ray Burks, 42, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 1995, at Hillcrest Medical Center as a result of injuries sustained in a house fire.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Carner officiating. Interment was in Sunrise Cemetery in Kellyville.

Mr. Burks was born May 9, 1953 in Sapulpa and had lived here all of his life. He had worked at a number of different jobs and helped at the Sapulpa fire Department. He was a Protestant.

Mr. Burks was preceded in death by his parents, Dayton and Evelyn Burks, and a sister.

Survivors include one uncle, Jesse R. Ramsey of Mensha, Wisc.
