Clayton D. Chalk, 79, of Sapulpa died Thursday, December 7, 1995, at his home. 

Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Kevin Burden and Alvin Burton officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens with Smith Funeral Home of Sapulpa in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Chalk was born June 27, 1916 in Sapulpa. He was retired from Sheffield Steel Co. and a member of Bible Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Maxine, of the home; a son, Richard Chalk of Sapulpa; a daughter Karen Chalk of the home; two brothers Perry Chalk of Sand Springs and Lester Chalk of Sapulpa; and two sisters, Thelma HURST of Freeport, Texas and Dorothy THOMPSON of Berryville, AR.

Services for Clayton D. Chalk are scheduled for 2 pm today in the Smith Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Kevin Burden and Alvin Burton officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens, directed by Smith Funeral Home. 

Casket bearers will be Roy EMMONS, Bob HUGHES and Blance GARDNER. 

Mr. Chalk, a Sapulpa resident since 1949, died Wednesday at his home. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
