Betty Lou Chambers, 70, of Dewey, died Monday at the local medical complex in Dewey.

Services are scheduled at 10 am Thursday in the Colonial Chapel of the Neekamp Funeral Home, Bartlesville, with the Rev. Joel Christiansen officiating.

A committal service will follow at 1 pm at Mounds Cemetery, Mounds, with the Rev. L.O. McNab officiating.

She was born Jan 6, 1923, in Tulsa. She and Ray Chambers Jr. were married Sept 30, 1947, in Franklin, Ark, and established a home in Dewey. She was associated with Union Bank for five years prior to her 18-year association with the Phillips Credit Union. She worked for Phillips Petroleum Company in 1980 before retiring in 1985 as a benefits analyst.

Survivors include her husband and brother Forrest Field Jr. of Tulsa.
