VERSA CORBIN

Mrs. C. L. (Versa Conley) Corbin, 92, 201 W. Anderson, died Wednesday at her home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Friday at North Heights Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Fred Redfern and Howard Butler officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

She was born March 10, 1909, in Shirley, Ark., and moved to Sapulpa from Poteau 62 years ago. She was a housewife and member of the Welcome Home Freewill Baptist Church of Oakhurst. She also enjoyed quilting.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Conley, in 1973.

Survivors include husband, C. L. Corbin; sons Julius Conley of Bristow, James Conley of Kellyville and Kpe Conley Jr. of Sapulpa; stepson Leslie Corbin of Sacramento, Calif.; daughters Ida Glover of Duncan and Mary Thompson of Broken Arrow; stepdaughters Phyliss Conovan and Marion Drake, both of Sacramento; brother William Brock of Sapulpa; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at North Heights Freewill Baptist Church the day of the service.

Funeral services for Versa Conley Corbin were today at North Heights Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Fred Redfern and Howard butler officiating.

Burial followed at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Casketbearers were Walter Glover, Dan Glover, Bobby Cargil, Gary Conley, James Conley and Jerry Conley.

Honorary bearers were Timmy Conley, Tommy Conley, Danny Conley, David Conley and Sammy Conley.
