Douglas D. Duckert, 72, 716 S. Oak, died Tuesday, Sep 13, 1994 at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services are pending with Smith Funeral Home.

He was born Feb 1, 1922 in Sapulpa.

He married Imogene Rainwater on June 27, 1942.

In 1941 he graduated from Sapulpa High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He worked as a claims agent and right-of-way agent for Big Heart Pipeline and retired Feb 1, 1986.

Survivors include his wife, Imogene of the home; a daughter, Carol Dene Crosby of Colleyville, Texas; a son Larry Dale Duckert of Stillwell; two brothers, Kenneth Duckert of Sapulpa and Bob Duckert of Jenks; a sister, Barbara Contardi of Stillwater, and four grandchildren.

Funeral services for Douglas D. Duckert will be at 10:30 am Friday in the Smith Funeral Chapel with Russell Casey officiating. Interment will follow in Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. 

Serving as casket bearers will be Don Stephens, C. K. Wagner, W. T.
"Dub" Moore, Jack McKenzie, Bob Chambers and Claudie Stephens.
