John Oscar Edleman, 64, 2020 S. Independence, died Monday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

He was born Jan 5, 1929, in Carnegie. A graduate of Kiefer High School, he attended Oklahoma State University majoring in civil engineering. He married Reba Palmer in 1957 in Sapulpa. Edleman retired from Mansur, Daubert, Strella Consultant Engineering of Tulsa after 30 years.

Survivors include his wife, Reba; sons, Robert Edleman of Sapulpa and Jeff Edleman of Stillwater; daughter, Cyndy Curtis of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Jim Edleman of Kiefer; and sister, Wreatha Pritchard of Sapulpa.

Funeral services for John Edleman will be held at 10 am Thursday, at the First Church of God Annex with the Rev. Tommy Dove officiating.

Burial will follow at Mounds Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home
