Joene Leslie Forrest, 55, rural Choctaw, Okla., died Monday, September 19, 1994, in Baptist Memorial Hospital, Oklahoma City.
Services will be 2 pm Thursday at Sunrise Baptist Church, Kellyville, with Rev. Millard
McGuire officiating. Burial will be in Sunrise
Cemetery, Kellyville. Arrangements are by Owen Funeral Home.
She was born April 12, 1939 in Atlanta, Ga., to Joseph Brown and Margaret Long Pair.
She was married May 3, 1958 in Henryetta to Johnnie Joe Forest, Sr.
She was a homemaker. She was a resident of Choctaw for 20 years, coming from Oklahoma City. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include her husband Johnnie, of the home; a son, Johnnie Joe Forrest, Fr., Duluth, Minn.; daughters Cindy Bowman and Carla Kirk, both of Harrah, and Karen Wilmot, Choctaw; two sisters, Louise Sullivan, Yukon, Okla., and Linda Henson, Waldorf, Ma.; and eight grandchildren.
Casket Bearers will be Less Forrest, Mike Sullivan, Daryl Forrest, Jr.; Wade Forrest, Lonnie Forrest and Johnnie Forrest, Jr. Honorary casket bearers will be Lloyd Wilmot and Charlie Forrest. The family will headquarter at the home of Ott Jones in Kellyville.

Funeral services are 2 pm Thursday, September 22, 1994 at Sunrise Baptist Church, Kellyville, Oklahoma. Reverend Millard

Forrest was born April 12, 1939 in Atlanta, Georgia to Joseph Brown and Margaret Long Pair. She married Johnnie Joe Forrest, Sr. May 3, 19958 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker, devoted and loving grandmother and family member. She was a resident of Choctaw for 20 years, coming from Oklahoma City. She was of the Pentecostal Faith.
Survivors include husband Johnnie, of the home; son Johnnie Joe Forrest, Jr., Duluth, NM, and his wife Sondra; daughters, Cindy Bowman and husband James, and Carla Kirk and husband Louis, all of Harrah, Oklahoma and Karen Wilmot and husband Lloyd, Choctaw, Oklahoma; sisters Louise Sullivan, Yukon, Oklahoma and Linda Henson, Waldrof Maryland. Also eight grandchildren, Fred and Margaret Kirk, Jeff and
Robert Bowman, Junior and Casey Wilmot and Ricky and Nikki.
Casketbearers are Less Forrest, Mike Sullivan, Daryl Forrest, Jr., Wade Forrest, Lonnie Forrest, Johnnie Forrest, Jr. Honorary casketbearers are Lloyd Wilmot and
Charlie Forrest.
The body will lie in state until 9 pm Tuesday and Wednesday.
The family will headquarter at the home of Ott Jones in Kellyville.
Funeral arrangements are under direction of Owen Funeral Home.
