Ralph Earl Greer, Sr., 76, Mounds, died Saturday, June 10, 1995 at
Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mounds First Baptist Church with
the Revs. Dick Knox, Harry Dodd and Virgil Calvert officiating. Burial
will be in Mounds Cemetery, directed by Smith Funeral Home.
He was born Sept. 12, 1918 in Bristow.
He lived in Mounds since 1937. He was a farmer, stockman and member
of the Mounds School Board. He was a deacon, Sunday School teacher and
member of the Financial Committee of the Mounds First Baptist Church.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Seabees. He received
Creek County agriculture awards and served on agricultural boards in
Creek County.
Survivors include his wife, May, of the home; a son, Ralph Earl Greer,
Jr., Mounds; two daughters, Marcia Earlene Greer Rupert, Chattanooga,
Tenn., and
Fern Ann Greer Foresman, Mounds; five brothers, Jim Greer, LeRoy Greer
and Kenneth Greer, all of Mounds, Wayne Greer, San Francisco, Calif.,
and Glen Greer, Redwood, Calif.; two sisters, Mable Snelling, Modesto,
Calif., and Mildred Greer, Mounds, and six grandchildren.
Donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Services for Ralph Earl Greer were held Wednesday at Mounds First Church
with the Revs. Dick Knox, Virgle Calvert and Harry Dodd officiating.
Burial was in Mounds Cemetery, directed by Smith Funeral Home.
Casketbearers were Michael Greer, Phillip Greer, Roger Cross, Chuck
Linnet, Eugene Jones, Johnny Pell, Alan Snelling, Allen Greer, Gregory
Greer. Honorary bearers were Glenn Pendergrass, Deacons of the Mounds
Baptist Church and members of the Mounds Lions Club.
