Mrs. Earl (Nell) Hand died Friday at her home in Mounds.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Tuesday at the South Heights Cemetery Chapel followed by burial in South Height Cemetery. Arrangements are with Owen Funeral Home.

She was born in Sapulpa and lived in Creek County most of her life. She married Earl Hand in November 1934 in Okmulgee and was an avid gardener, cook, homemaker and a Christian.

She is survived by her husband, of the home, son Mike and daughter Mary Lou Delong, both of Hominy; brothers Dud Summers, of Lebanon, Mo., and Homer Summers, of Walla Walla, Wash.; sister Evelyn Robertson, of Lebanon, Mo.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Earl (Nell) Hand were held today at the South Heights Chapel with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Honorary casketbearers include her grandsons, Greg DeLong, Darren DeLong, Jason DeLong and Brad Hand.

Mrs. Hand, a lifetime resident of Mounds, died Friday at her home.
