Earl Joseph Hand, 88, Rt. 1, Mounds, died Tuesday at his home.

Private family services are scheduled for 11 am Friday at Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

He was born May 21, 1904 in Iowa and lived in this area most of his life. Mr. Hand retired from the City of Sapulpa where he worked in the water department.

Survivors include a son, Mike Hand of Hominy; daughter Mary DeLong of Hominy; sister, Margaret Kaiser of Fort Smith, Ark.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
