Mrs. Ed (Ruth) Higgins, 79, of Sapulpa, died Wednesday at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa.

Services will be held 2 pm Saturday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe C. Knowles officiating.

Burial will be in South Heights Cemetery with arrangements by Smith Funeral Home.

She was born Oct 8, 1908, in Thomasville, MO and was retired from the Creek County Clerk's Office.

She was a Sapulpa resident most of her life and was united in marriage with Ed Higgins on June 7, 1930. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Young at Heart Sunday school class.

Survivors include: husband Ed; daughters Mrs. Dan (Joyce) Moore; Mrs. Robert (June) Rivers; one granddaughter Allison Moore.
