Updated: 06 Sep 2009 HOLT, Dempsey David Tarpley, Texas -- Dempsy David Holt, 69, of Tarpley, Texas, died Monday at home. Services are planned for 2 pm Thursday at Owen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating. Burial will be in Mounds Cemetery. Mr. Holt was self-employed as a carpet store owner in Omaha, Neb. He was a former Sapulpa resident and a World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Darlene. Survivors include sons David MCPHERSON of Broken Arrow, Lynn Holt of Tarpley and Don Holt of Kansas City, Mo; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family will headquarter at the MCPHERSON home in Broken Arrow.
