J. D. Hopkins, 65, of Kiefer, died Wednesday at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services are to be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Mounds Cemetery with the Rev. R. L. Stacy officiating. Burial is to follow under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
Hopkins was born June 2, 1929 in Seminole and was married to Charlene Bowen in 1951 in Clovis, N.M. He had lived in Kiefer since 1968 and was employed by Tresco, Inc. in tank maintenance. He was a member of the True Life Tabernacle.
He is survived by wife Charlene of the home; step-mother Ethel Hopkins of Arcadia, CA; son Tommy Hopkins of Sapulpa; daughters Kathy Green of Kiefer, Judy Owens of Sapulpa and Trudy Harp of Okmulgee; brothers Frank Hopkins of Salt Lake City, UT, Chuck Hopkins of Memphis, TN and Jerry Hopkins of Moreland, KS; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services for J. D. Hopkins were to be held today at 10:30 am in the
Mounds Cemetery with Rev. R. L. Stacy officiating.
Interment was to follow in the Mounds Cemetery under the direction of Smith
Funeral Home.
Hopkins, a Kiefer resident of 26 years, died Wednesday.
