Alto, New Mexico - Former Sapulpan Mrs. Fred (Nettie Benfield) Hug, 58, died Thursday in Alto, NM.

Funeral services will be 10 am Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Daniel Keohane officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

She was born Sep 30, 1930, in Tulsa, and graduated from Sapulpa High School. She lived in Sapulpa for many years and was employed by Sinclair Oil Co., Tulsa. Mrs. Hug moved to Dallas when the company became Atlantic-Richfield and after retirement moved to New Mexico.

Survivors include husband Fred Hug of the home; mother Mrs. Gordon Benfield of Sapulpa; sons Richard F. Hartman II and Randal Hartman, both of Tulsa; sisters Marlene Vanarsdel of Sapulpa, Valarie Thurber of Garland, Texas; and Karen Sue Linn of Dallas; and three grandsons.
