MOUNDS - N. C. "Red" Jones, 72, Mounds, died Sunday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Services are will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at United Pentecostal Church, Mounds, with the Rev. Archie Ray Daniels officiating with assistance by Arnold E. Harris.

Burial will we at Mounds Cemetery under the direction of Spivey Funeral Home, Beggs, Okla.

Mr. Jones was a retired oil field worker and an Army veteran of World War II.

Casket bearers will be Bill Cumbey, Dee Tuttle, Jewel Brookshier, Gene Harris, Billy Wells and Larry Hall.

Survivors include sons Eddy of Mounds, Ray of Tallahassee, Fla.; step-sons Bob Stroud of Mounds, Otis Stroud of Quiny, Fla., William Stroud of Henderson, Texas; daughter Marie Fewell of Tahlequah, Okla., and Christine Rovang and Judy Shoaf, both of Mounds; sister Edna Bacon of Sapulpa; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgie Mary in 1986.
