Elder Robert Dale Knox, 65, 615 N. Johannes, died Thursday while fishing at Lake Keystone.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am Thursday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Elder Lee Broom officiating.

Burial will follow at North Heights Cemetery under the direction of Hash-Jackson Funeral Home.

He was born December 27, 1926, in Mounds. He was a longtime resident of Sapulpa.

Elder Knox married Ola Mae Heath on September 11, 1958.

Survivors include his wife, Ola Mae; sons, Leroy and Kenneth, both of Tulsa, and Lawrence Grant of Sapulpa; daughters, Stella Pickens and Sandra Knox, both of Tulsa, and Barbara Knox of Richmond, California; sisters, Almeta Knox and Oretha Hughes, of Wichita, Kansas, Dorothy Ann Bruner of Oklahoma City, Ora Belle ___??__ and Leona White of Oakland, California; brothers Ellis Ore of San Francisco, California, Freddie Lee Knox and R. L. Knox, both of Sapulpa; twenty-four grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren.

Robert Dale Knox, 65, of Sapulpa, died Friday as the result of drowning.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am Thursday at Mr. Olive Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at North Heights Cemetery under the direction of Nash-Jackson Funeral Home.

Knox was a retired construction worker.

Survivors include his wife, Ola Mae.
