KIEFER — Perry Virgil Lankford, 66, of Kiefer, died Saturday at Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa.

Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday at North Heights Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Howard Butler and Lonnie Hall officiating.

Burial will be at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

He was born January 1, 1924, in Mountain Home, Ark. He moved to Kiefer from Bristow about 30 years ago.

Mr. Lankford was employed as a diesel mechanic for the International Harvester Company for many years. He was a member of the Community Freewill Baptist Church of Kiefer.

Survivors include wife Neva; daughters Cheryl Allen of Kiefer and Linda Wisdom of Tulsa; sons Marshall Lankford of Glenpool and Keith Landford of Tulsa; brother Andy Hightower of Davenport; sisters Freda Denny of Arco, Idaho, and Cora smith of Cortez, Colo.; six grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at 6 Linda St. Kiefer.

Funeral services for Perry V. Lankford were held today at North Heights Baptist Church, with the Revs. Howard Butler and Lonnie Hall officiating.

Burial followed at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Casketbearers were Jim Davidson, Bob Welker, Don Trotter, Ed Whitchurch, Joe Hernandez, and Roy Kirby. Honorary bearers were Pet May, Robert Green, Kenneth Johnson and Jay Ritchie.
