Terry L. LaRue, 38, 720 S. Oak, died today at his home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Wednesday at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens.

Mr. LaRue was born Sep 19, 1953, in Sapulpa. He was a former Creek County deputy sheriff and owned LaRue’s Auto Electric. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include wife, Sheryl; mother Betty LaRue of Denton, Texas; sons Terry Jr. and Christopher of the home, David of Sapulpa and Dusty of Checotah; brother Johnny LaRue of Denton; sisters Donna Cochran of Sapulpa, Skeeter Horath of Bixby and JoAnn Pollard of Denton.

Casketbearers were Ronnie Parker, Sammy Bruckman, Frank Robledo, Robert Hoover, Lynn Murray and Floyd Thomas.

Mr. LaRue, the owner of LaRue’s Auto electric and a lifelong Sapulpa resident, died Monday.
