MOUNDS — Vada Mae Little, 57, Mounds, died Sunday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Thursday at the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Mounds with Baxter Scroggins officiating. 

Burial will follow in the Mounds Cemetery under the direction of Spivey Funeral Home in Mounds.

She was born in Keota on April 13, 1933. She married Jessie Little on June 5, 1949, at Okemah, and moved to Mounds from Okmulgee 33 years ago. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness church.

Survivors include husband Jessie; mother Emma Davis of Mounds; son Tech. Sgt. Rickey Alvin Little of Panama; daughters Barbara Kent and Karen Burnett, both of Tulsa, and Phyllis Baker of Mounds; brothers L. D. Davis and Harold Davis, both of Mounds; sisters Vera Vaughn of Okemah, Pauline Buchanan of Kiefer, and Carolyn Richards of Sapulpa; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Little will lie in state for viewing from 9 am to 8 pm through Wednesday, and prior to services time on Thursday at Spivey Funeral Home in Mounds.
