Former Sapulpan Dies in Colorado

E. M. McMahan, former Sapulpan, who left here about 16 years ago, died recently in Denver, Colo., and the body will arrive here tomorrow evening for services and burial Friday afternoon.

While living in Sapulpa, McMahan was an oil field team contractor. One of his surviving sons, F. T. McMahan, of Denver, is said to be one of the four students who graduated from the first Sapulpa High School here in 1907.

Another surviving son is R. M. McMahan of Tulsa.

Funeral arrangements were partially completed today. The rites will be held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock in Lewis and Landrith funeral chapel. Burial will be made in the Sapulpa Cemetery.
