Mrs. Bob (Thelma L.) Parkins, 61, 106 N. Boyd Place, died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa.

Services will be 9:30 am Tuesday at Green Hills Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. T. Howard Allen officiating.

Burial will be at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Casket bearers will be Gene Wilson, Carl Samples, Mike Wells, Kenneth Stivers, John Fissel and Larry Click. Honorary bearers will be Neal Risner, Clayton Duckworth and Jim White.

She was born May 18, 1926, in Nianguna, MO. She married Robert Parkins Feb 15, 1982, and moved to Sapulpa.

Mrs. Parkins was an honorary member of the Sapulpa Women’s Golf Association and was a member of the Women’s Bowling Association.

Survivors include husband Robert; father Owen Middelson of Nianguna; son Mike of Muldrow; daughters Gail Barnes of Sapulpa and Robin Lindstrom of Owasso; brother Chester Middelsen of Nianguna; sisters Betty Middelsen of Nianguna, and Loretta Rogers and Jo Etta Williams, both of Springfield, Mo; and seven grandchildren.

The family requests contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
