Catherine Lucille Powell, 84, 215 S. Maple, died Wednesday at her home.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday at Ridgeway Baptist Church with the Rev. John Bartels officiating.

Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

She was born October 3, 1906, in Bristow. She moved to the Sapulpa area in 1917 and married Roy Powell in September 1936. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984.

Survivors include daughters Sarah Secrist of Kellyville and Jane Shouse and Mary Henry, both of Sapulpa; sisters Hortense Burke of Sapulpa and Billie Gookin of Kalispell, Mont.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Catherine Powell were held Saturday at Ridgeway Baptist Church with the Rev. John Bartels officiating.

Burial was at South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Casket bearers were Wallace Henry, Glen Green, Ed Willingham, Jack Nation, Bill Warden and Bill Shouse.

Mrs. Powell died Wednesday at home.
