Cloy Wilma (Pruitt) Self, 83, of Bristow, died Monday in Bristow.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, at Sunrise Cemetery, located in the Heyburn area, with Rev. Wayne Gemmill officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunrise Cemetery under the direction of Schumacher Funeral Home.

She was born Oct. 14, 1909, in Golden, MO. A resident of Bristow since 1983, she moved from California. In 1925 she married Edward (Slim) Nelson Self in Sapulpa. Self was an avid homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and roses. Self was formerly employed as a nurses aide in Wyoming and Illinois. She was a member of the Church of God in Bristow.

Survivors include her husband, Edward (Slim) Nelson; son, Darrell of Bristow; daughter, Laverne of Bristow; brothers Glen Pruitt of Norwlk, CA, and John Eldon "Buster" Pruitt of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Lorraine Noe of Columbus, OH; six grandsons; and five great-grandsons.
