MOUNDS - Kathleen Sparks, 69, of Mounds, died today in Mounds.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Monday at First Christian Church, Mounds, with the Roy Willet officiating.

Burial will follow at Mounds Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

She was born April 22, 1922, in Mounds, and was a lifelong Mounds resident. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Mounds First Christian Church.

Mrs. Sparks was preceded in death by her husband, Jack B. Sparks, and a son, Gary Wade Sparks.

Survivors include son Jack B. Sparks Jr. of Mounds; daughter Linda McNabb of Mounds; and three grandsons.

The family will headquarter at the L. O. McNabb Jr. residence the day of the service.
