Evelyn Dora Starkey, age 62, died Sunday, July 13, 1986 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Starkey was born December 12, 1923, in Milton Oklahoma, and had been a resident of Okmulgee for the past thirteen years. She was a member of the First Indian Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parent's Isom & Julie ( Bledsoe) Wallen. Her husband, Arnold Starkey.

Survivors include two sons, Frank Starkey of Sapulpa and John Starkey of Tulsa; four daughters, Rita Thacker and Yvonne Starkey, both of Tulsa, and Linda and Joyce Starkey, both of Okmulgee; one brother, Guy Waller, of Sapulpa; one sister, Catherine Thompson of Tulsa; twelve grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 16, at the First Indian Baptist Church in Okmulgee. Reverend Bridge Chuckluck, Jr., will officiate. Interment in Mounds Cemetery will follow the service under the direction of Cantrell-Kelley Funeral Home.
