MOUNDS - Mrs. Elda L. Starr, 77, of Mounds died Wednesday in Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa.

Services will be 10:30 am Saturday at Mounds First United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Hess officiating.

Burial will be in the Mounds Cemetery under the direction of Leonard Funeral Home, Bixby.

Casket bearers will include her grandsons, Mark and Jim.

She was born July 26, 1910, in Mounds, and was the daughter of Granvil and Laura (Souther Madison) Copenhaver. She married Harry Starr Jr., Aug 15, 1927. He preceded her in death on Sep 20, 1984.

Mrs. Starr was a member of the Mounds Eastern Starr.

Survivors include son James Robert of Orange, Calif.; brothers Antone Copenhaver of Beggs and Anthony Copenhaver of Sulphur, Okla.; and two grandsons.
