MOUNDS - Mr. Charles L. "Steve" Stephenson, 69, Mounds, died Thursday
in St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa.
Services will be 2 pm Monday at Leonard Funeral Home Chapel, Bixby, with the
Rev. Ed Yarger officiating.
Burial will be at Mounds Cemetery.
He was born Dec 29, 1919.
Mr. Stephenson was a retired Mounds Chief of Police and he owned an alternator
shop in Mounds.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel, on Dec 11.
Survivors include son Ronnie of Joplin, Mo.; step-daughter Judy Melson of
Mounds; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
