Dallas - Alice Stiles, 76, of Dallas died recently in Dallas.

Funeral services were held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Dallas, with the Rev. Richard J. Petranek officiating.

Burial followed at the Presidio San Francisco, under the direction of Russland Funeral Home.

She was born May 21, 1916, in Jackson, Tenn. She married Willard LeRoy Stiles Jr. in Sapulpa on Aug 25, 1936. She lived at Walnut Hill Place in Dallas for the past four years. She was confirmed in the Episcopal Church and enjoyed working for the St. Elizabeth's Guild for Children's Medical Center.

Mrs. Stiles was preceded in death by her husband in 1988.

Survivors include daughters Cynthia MECHLER of Dallas and Leslie ZARA of Northern California; son Robert Sherwood STILES of northern California; brothers Joseph (Bud) Sherwood and John Edwin SHERWOOD, both of Sapulpa; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
