KELLYVILLE - William (Bill) McKinley Surber, 98, of Kellyville, died Wednesday at Saint John Medical Center, Tulsa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Friday at South Heights Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Ivan Coper officiating.

Burial will follow in Kellyville City Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.

Casketbearers will be Oliver Surber, Jerry Surber, Garyle McGuire, Roger Larkey, Sam Chappel and Barrett Larkey.

He was born July 19, 1893 in Saint Andrews, Fla., and married Phyllis MCGUIRE in Kellyville in 1935. He was self-employed in the oil refining business and moved to Kellyville in 1980 from Panama City, Fla. He was a

Mason and a member of Kellyville Lodge 170 and Sapulpa Lodge 498. Mr. Surber was an avid fisherman.

He was preceded in death by son William Surber in 1982 and daughter Jewel BROWN in 1978.

Survivors include wife Phyllis; sons Oliver Surber of Swiney, Texas and Earnest McGuire of Kellyville; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will headquarter at 317 E. Shelton, Kellyville.
