Former Sapulpan Dies in California

Jimmie L. Tarr, 32, a former Sapulpan was killed recently in an automobile accident enroute from his home to Chula Vista, Calif to duty at Coronodo Naval Base.

A Navy career man with 13 years service, full military funeral rites were held.

Tarr was born in Sapulpa Jan 30, 1937. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Loyce Tarr, live now in Tulsa. Other survivors include the widow and two children of the home in Chula Vista.

Sapulpa survivors are an uncle, Cecil Tarr, and two aunts, Mrs. Ocea Whittenton and Mrs. Lee Rose.
