Rev. Roy B. Weaver, 81, 1806 S. Water, died today at his home.

Funeral arrangements are pending with Smith Funeral Home.

He was born Feb 13, 1910, in Grainola. He was a retired Methodist minister and pastored churches in Bartlesville, Morrison, Depew, Perkins and Braman.

Rev. Wheeler started Harvard Avenue Methodist Church and Sapulpa Wesley Methodist Church. At the time of his death, he was a member of First United Methodist Church, Sapulpa.

Survivors include wife, Barbara; sons, Gene Weaver of Portland, Ore., and David Weaver of Wichita, Kan.; daughter Carolyn Trent of Cottage Grove, Ore.; sister Velma Batdorf of Pawhuska; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Reverend Roy Weaver, 81, 1806 S. Water, died Tuesday at his home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Saturday at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Price officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Casketbearers will be John Quinton, Karl Bonner, Ben Riley, Sam Coble, Joe Howard and Bill Kidd.

Honorary casketbearers will be John Trask, Bill Gore and Leonard Fears.

He was born Feb 13, 1910, in Grainola and was a retired Methodist minister. He started the Harvard Avenue Methodist Church in Tulsa and served pastorates in Grainola, Cheyenne, Morrison, Depew, Perkins, Sapulpa Wesley, Meramac, Harrison, Branam, Bartlesville Epworth and Tishomingo. He also managed the Sapulpa Singer Sewing Sop for 15 years.

He was preceded in death by son Benjamin Howell Weaver in 1960.

Survivors include wife Barbara; sons Morris Eugene Weaver of Portland, Ore. and David Weaver of Wichita, Kans.; daughter Carolyn Trent of Cottage Grove, Ore.; sister Velma Batdorf of Pawhuska; brother Earl Weaver of Missouri; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of other remembrances, the family suggests donations to the Memorial Fund of the First United Methodist Church, Oklahoma City University, Green County Hospice of Tulsa or a favorite charity.
