Loyd Webster Dies Friday
Loyd Webster, 68, of 720 N. 10th, died Friday morning in Bartlett Memorial
Hospital.
Born May 11, 1907, on Decaterville, MO, he lived in the Kellyville area about
50 years before moving to Sapulpa a year ago. He was a retired oilfield pumper.
He was a member of the Kellyville Pentecostal Church.
Survivors are his widow Cora A. Webster of the home; one son, Gary L. Webster
of Depew; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Shields of Kellyville and Mrs. Joyce
Anglin of Bakersfield, Calif.; 4 grandchildren; three brothers, Alvin, of
Langdon, Kan., Leonard, of Sapulpa, and Richard, of Santa Ana, Calif., and one
sister, Mrs. Mattie West of Independence, MO.
The funeral will be at 2 pm Monday in the Kellyville Pentecostal Church with
interment in Sunrise Cemetery west of Kellyville under direction of Owen Funeral
Home.
The family will headquarter at the Gary Shields residence in Kellyville.

Cora Webster
Cora Webster of Sapulpa died Wednesday, June 24, 1998, at the St. John Medical Center at the age of 82.
Mrs. Webster was born Jan. 2, 1916 in Pauls Valley [Arkansas] to Charlie and Maudie Byrd Matlock Nichols. She came to Sapulpa at the age of 10 in a covered wagon pulled by a team of mules. Mrs. Webster was a homemaker and a member of the Christian Renewal Church, located at 501 S. Park.
Survivors are her three children, Joyce Anglen and husband Jerry, of Sapulpa; Gary Webster and Virginia Shields and husband Gary, all of Kellyville; four grandchildren, Michael Anglen of Sapulpa; Lloyd "Gene" Anglen of Bakersfield, Calif.; Debbie Gleichman of Edmond and Diana Shields of Austin, TX.; four great-grandchildren, Jennifer Kelley of Edmond, Shirley Baker of Corcoran, Calif.; Shellie Terreras of Bakersfield and Selena Terreras of Corcoran,; four great-great-grandchildren, Miranda and Corina Baker, both of Corcoran, and Joshua and Monica Terreras both of Bakersfield; and one sister, Della Webster of Sapulpa.
Funeral services for Mrs. Webster will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Christian Renewal Church with the Rev. Dan Larremore officiating. Interment will be in the Sunrise Cemetery under the direction of the Smith Funeral Home.
Serving as casketbearers will be Charles Duke, Gene Vanorsdol [Van Orsdol], William McGuire, Wayne McGuire, Leon Hiett and Larry Dean Webster.
The family will headquarter at the home of Gary and Virginia Shields, south of Kellyville. Mrs. Webster was devoted to her family, church, and friends. Her kindness and goodness touched all those she met. She will be missed by all.
