Cletis "Pete" Wheeler, 62, died Tuesday, Oct. 3, 1995 in Bristow.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Church of God in Bristow with the Rev. Merlin Mosher officiating. The sermon will be by Steve Wheeler.

Burial will be in Magnolia Memorial Gardens Cemetery directed by Schumacher Funeral Home, Bristow.

He was born Jan. 12, 1933 in Bristow.

He married Monta Jean on Feb. 19, 1955 in Bristow.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He sold industrial supplies for 24 years for Marsuco in Tulsa. He was a member of the First Church of God in Bristow.

Survivors include his wife, Monta Jean, of the home; two sons, Michael Wayne Wheeler, Catoosa, and Stephen B. Wheeler, Mustang; a daughter, Cleta Ann Bishop, Columbia, MO; a brother, Ernest Wheeler, Eufaula; five grandchildren, plus nieces and a nephew.
