Bristow - O. W. Wheeler, 86, Bristow, died Saturday at Rainbow Nursing Home, Bristow.

Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday at Schumacher Funeral Chapel, Bristow, with the Rev. Jim Osburn officiating.

Burial will be at 44 Cemetery, Bristow.

He was born June 11, 1903, in Dublin, Ark., and moved to the Bristow area at age 11.

He was a mechanic, rancher, hunter and fisherman.

Mr. Wheeler was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Marie Wheeler on Aug 2, and a son, Jessie Jack Wheeler, in January of 1979.

Survivors include sons, Cletis Wheeler of Bristow and Earnest Wheeler of Sapulpa; brother Flournoy Wheeler of Mannford; sisters Gertrude Wheeler of Bristow and Mary Mead of Glenpool; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
