Flournoy E. Wheeler, 78, of Mannford, died Monday in Mannford.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4 pm today at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Don McIntosh and the Rev. J. B. Tiner officiating.

Burial will follow at Forty-four Cemetery in Bristow.

Casketbearers will be Dewey Sams, Dwight Varnell, High Kennedy, David Wadley, David Moore and Pleas Cravens.

Mr. Wheeler was born March 16, 1913, in Ripley. He lived in Mannford for the past 30 years. He had been employed as a painter for the Smith Lumber Company.

Survivors include sons Earl and Charles Wheeler, both of Las Vegas, NV; sister Gertie Wheeler of Bristow; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
