Marvin Ace White, 65, of Bristow, died Sunday in Tulsa.
Funeral services were scheduled for 10 am today at 1st Street Holiness Church with Rev. Melvin Duke officiating.
Burial followed at Sunrise Cemetery in Kellyville under the direction of Schumacher Funeral Home of Bristow.
White was born March 10, 1928, in Bristow. A lifelong resident of the Bristow-Depew area, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Lorene McGuire in Clovis, N.M., on
Oct 13, 1951. They were members of the 1st Street Holiness Church. He was an oilfield worker for Doyle Matthews until his retirement in the mid-1980s.
He was preceded in death by three sisters: Donna Channel, Mildred Thompson and Jessie Povadeau; and one granddaughter, Myrna Martin.
Survivors include his wife, Lorene; son, Rev. Marvin Earl White of Las Lunas, N.M.; daughters, Brenda Lorene Martin of Plano, Texas, and Terrie Lynn Baker of Bristow; sister, Zelda Hightower of Davenport; and eight grandchildren.
