Esther Wilkonson, 96, of Sapulpa, died Sunday at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home.

Services are scheduled for 11 am Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Chapel with Rabbi Charles Sherman of Temple Israel officiating.

Entombment will follow in Green Hills Mausoleum.

Miss Wilkonson was born in Kansa City, MO, on Oct 15, 1894. She was a longtime Sapulpa resident, moving here in 1909.

She attended Sapulpa schools and later the Kansas City Conservatory of Music to study the violin.

Miss Wilkonson was a member of several organizations, including Camp Fire Girls, Red Cross, Lung Association, Cancer Society, Women's Chamber of Commerce, P.E.O., Eastern Star, Sapulpa Historical Society. She was a member of the Temple Israel Synagogue of Tulsa.

She was preceded in death by brother Eli Wilkonson, sisters Rose Wilkonson, Myrtle Wilkonson and Belle Wilkonson.

Survivors include brothers Lester Wilkonson of Wichita, KS, and Ed Wilkonson of Sapulpa; and sister Louise Wilkonson of Sapulpa.
