Louise Wilkonson, 93, of Sapulpa died at her home Monday, Sep 11, 1995.

Funeral services will be at 11 am Wednesday in First Presbyterian Church's Memorial Chapel, with Dr. John Nelsen officiating. Entombment will be in Green Hill Mausoleum.

Ms Wilkonson was born Sep 6, 1902 in Haileyville, Indian Territory. She moved to Sapulpa in 1909 with her family.

She attended school in Sapulpa and later graduated from the University of Oklahoma, where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She later earned a masters degree in hospital management and served as chief dietitian at Morningside Hospital, now Hillcrest Hospital, as well as Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO and hospitals in Baytown, Texas and Columbus, Ohio. She was an administrator at Michaels Reese Hospital in Chicago.

After her retirement, Ms Wilkonson returned to Sapulpa.

She was a member of Sapulpa's First Presbyterian Church and the Martha Ruth Circle.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother.

Survivors include two brothers, Ed Wilkonson of Sapulpa and Lester Wilkonson of Wichita, KS; her long-time care giver Cleoria McIntosh Davis; and a number of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorials can be made to First Presbyterian Church or to favorite charities.

Wilkonson

Services for Louise Wilkonson were held today in the First Presbyterian Memorial chapel with Dr. John Nelson officiating. Burial followed in the Green Hills Mausoleum. Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
