Juanita Emily Williams, 80, of Sapulpa, died Wednesday at Ranch Terrace
Nursing Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at South Heights Chapel with
the Rev. Bob Burch officiating.
Burial will follow at South Heights Cemetery
under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.
She was born the youngest of three children on Aug 8, 1911, on a farm near
Bentonville, Ark. She married Robert Freeman Williams in 1929 during her senior
year at Sapulpa High School.
Mrs. Williams was a charter member of the Grace Tabernacle Undenominational
Church, helped organize it and served as its treasurer and a Sunday school
teacher for many years. She was an aide at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center and
completed her Health Aid training in 1966. She worked at several part-time jobs
and was interested in arts, ceramics, sewing and crafts.
Survivors include daughter Mrs. Roy (Wanda) Kirkwood of Beggs; two
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will headquarter at the Kirkland home in Beggs.
