Herbert M. Wilson, 83, of Mounds, died Thursday at Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Duck Creek Community Church with Revs. Paul Martin and Dalton Deene officiating.

Burial will follow in Bixby Cemetery under the direction of Leonard Funeral Home, Bixby.

He was born November 8, 1908, in Plato, Mo., and was an area resident since 1918. He worked in the oilfields, as a dairyman and as a farmer and rancher. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include sisters Lola Roller and Edith Howard, both of Mounds; and brother Raymond Wilson of Sapulpa.
