Cecil Keith Young, 85, of Kellyville, died Tuesday at Bixby Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Kellyville with Rev. Rick Bateman officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

He was born May 21, 1908, in Stratford, and was a lifelong resident of that area. He was formerly employed as a boilermaker in tank construction. Young was a member of the Boilermaker Union, and of the First Baptist Church of Kellyville. He married Alma Rutledge in Sapulpa on Dec 24, 1939.

Survivors include his wife, Alma; son, Johnny Young of Tulsa; and sister, Alena Mitchell of Oklahoma City.

Funeral services for Cecil Keith Young of Kellyville were held today at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Kellyville with Rev. Rick Bateman officiating.

Burial followed at Green Hills Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Serving as casket bearers were Leon Long, Weyburn Williams, John Rivett, Kevin Knowles, Mark Rutledge and Mike Fox.

Young, a lifelong resident of the Kellyville area, died Tuesday.
