Howard Paul Jones, formerly of Sapulpa, passed away Monday May 31, 2010 at the age of 80. He was born January 3, 1930 in Sapulpa to James and Minnie Jones. Howard was retired from a career in computer management; died Monday in Kansas City, Mo.

He is preceded in death by two wives, his parents, twin grandchildren Bret and Brice, one sister and four brothers.

Howard is survived by his children, Cheryl Mercer of Kellyville, Stanley Jones and his wife Patricia of Lenexa, Kan., Nyla Stone of Kansas City, Mo.; grandchildren, Brian Paul Royal and his wife Marcy, Jamie Paul Jones and his wife Erica, Patrick Jones and his wife Kari, Chris Stone, Stephanie Sparks and her husband Curtis; great-grandchildren, Chelsea Adane, Brianna Royal, Brendon Royal, Amariah Jones, Eternity Jones, Blaine Sparks and Chloe Sparks.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday June 5, 2010 at Westside Free Will Baptist Church in Sapulpa with the Reverend Millard McGuire officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Brian Royal, Chris Stone, Jamie Jones, Patrick Jones, Robert Jones, Mike Jones and Darin Jones.
